Whole Cars
In conjunction with World Auto Trading, who is a member of every major auto auction in Japan, we work hard to buy the highest quality vehicle that can be found on the market.
When you chose to have us buy a vehicle for you at auction, you are choosing dilligence. Many other companies simply look at the auction card and place their bids, but we go out on the floor and inspect each car personally before placing a bid. This is the best way to ensure that the vehicle is in proper working order.
To request the purchase of a car or cars through PRI Trading, please ask us to send you an order form via email. Once you have your request form, you are on your way to buying the finest JDM vehicle that money can buy. Be sure to fill out every detail on the form so that there are no misunderstandings or ambiguities in you request.
Once a car has been successfully bid on and won, the money will need to be sent by international bank transfer or money wire, the following business day to ensure that we can pay the auction company in a timely manner.
The Process:

All financial transactions deal in Japanese Yen (JPY). This ensures the least amount of loss due to currency conversion for both the customer and PRI Trading when transfering money internationally.
If a customer fails to make payment on a vehicle that we have successfully bid on for them, then PRI Trading must return the car to the auction company at a 70,000 JPY penalty. For this reason, first time customers must put down a 70,000 yen per vehicle deposit before we can bid on any vehicles for them. This will be returned if the customer decides not to make a bid and can be applied to the balance on any cars purchased at auction or from PRI Trading.
The costs to the customer are as follows:
1.) Price of the car at auction
2.) 100,000 JPY commission/auction fees/FOB charge
*FOB stands for "Freight On Board" which is the cost of getting an item to be shipped internationally to the port of export.
3.) 20,000 JPY will be charged if the car(s) are to be sent by container. Whether or not a car or cars are sent by container will depend upon the customer's preference as well as the availability of Roll-on-Roll off space.
4.) International Shipping of the vehicle from the port in Japan to the port of entry.
5.) Any applicable duties, taxes, inspection fees, etc. incurred upon arrival to the country of import.
Once the vehicle has left the port in Japan, the customer is responsible for ALL ensuing expenses.
PRI Trading is NOT responsible for the customer's failure to inform him or herself of all applicable import laws and restrictions of the country of import.
